The breed
Speckle Park cattle came from Canada, originally from the province of Saskatchewan. The breed is represented by a Canadian society since 1985, and was officially recognized as a purebred breed by the Canadian government in 2006. In Australia, the breed was introduced in 2009 and has been genetically improved over the last 15 years, gaining popularity among Australian farmers.
history
Adaptability, precocity, rusticity and docile temperament. The Speckle Park breed has numerous advantages over more established breeds in Brazil, and has already proven its hardiness in the Australian Outbacks, adaptation to warmer and colder climates, and all this with high yield, easy handling and the most premium, tender and tasty meat you've ever tasted.
The name Speckle Park comes from the skin coloration (Speckle = Spots) which are usually in black, gray and white. They usually have white lines on their backs and undersides. The head is often black or spotted.
The medium-sized breed originated from several British breeds including Teeswater Shorthorn and Aberdeen Angus.
